anjenthedog
I installed the latest NVidia drivers a few days ago, and apparently, it's now automatically upscaling Skyrim, then down-converting back to 1080 for display, "To improve the looks" While I don't discount that everything's looking fine, the actual startup of Skyrim is a teeny bit concerning, since the monitor that Skyrim launches in goes into a few seconds of unexpected blanking. Anyone else seeing this? I'm not sure if it's "to be expected" or something's messed up on my end. Again, game looks fine once playing, it's just that after the drive update, the initial game startup is suddenly "glitchy" feeling... oh and on close too. scorrp10
You can always control it by opening Nvidia control panel, going to 'Graphics' and changing the setup for Skyrim.

Gotcha. Understood. However, the real question is: "Anyone else seeing this? I'm not sure if it's "to be expected" or something's messed up on my end." - Considering that "I" didn't change anything, and it "came that way" after the new driver was installed.
