Weird lighting effect from ENB.

I'm having this weird lighting effect that's being caused by my ENB. It's the necklace.

After deactivating my ENB, the effect went away.

Is there a way I can fix this?

I actually think that this is not the gem glow itself, but rather your ENB skin subsurface/reflection settings.    Likely the reason your cheeks are a lot more glowy  with ENB.  Although could also be your bloom setting.

I run Obsidian Weathers + Enhanced Lighting for ENB,  and use Re-Engaged ENB for Obsidian.    I get nowhere near the effect you have, especially in an interior location.   I am using Fair Skin Complexion with a near-black (VERY dark red) subsurf  texture, but even on an NPC using a much brighter Demoniac subsurf, the effect is nowhere near as pronounced.    This image is captured outside, on Dimoniac 'wet' skin model, with gem at its brightest.

I suggest trying this:   set you camera speed to something like 2    (console:   sucsm 2), go into free camera mode (tfc) and pan around self so you are looking at the necklace gem from the side.   This should tell you if the effect is indeed around the gem, or a reflection off of skin.

Also suggest backing up your enb files, and trying out some other ENB to see if things look different.

When I installed Fair Skin Complexion, I chose the option to disable the subsurface scattering. That’s why I didn’t believe the skin was to blame. I also did use free camera to take the screenshot, and the effect was noticeable from the side when I was getting the camera into position. I’ll provide a screenshot of that, if you want.

I really hope that I don’t have to change my ENB because I really like it. But if I have to, then I will.

My general recommendation is try try a couple other ENBs, (i.e. Re-engaged), and if you find one that does not give you this sort of glare, try comparing the files.   It the necklace is like that in any setting/weather, it is likely not a weather specific file, but directly a difference in enbseries.ini

Consider sections: bloom, object, ssao_ssil, and potentially: volumetricfog, imagebasedlighting...

Also, check the game world around you - if any other glowing objects exhibit a similar issue.

OK, so before I went messing around with ENB stuff, I decided to go ahead and check the issue 1 more time. So, it seems I was mistaken about the effect happening on more than my character's skin. When I moved the camera to the side, it appears that it was just the glow and not the weird effect. Here's a couple of screenshots.

The effect also happens on NPCs. Here it is on the Angel follower.

I didn't notice the effect on anything else. Also, I installed Particle Patch for ENB, but it didn't help.

Well, then it is definitely one of skin settings.

In SSE directory enbseries.ini, check the SkinSpecular  section.

And maybe SubSurfaceScattering.   In particular SurfaceBrightness/SurfaceBrightnessInterior

Ok. I’ll check it out in a bit. I’m currently watching a movie with my girlfriend.

@scorrp10

I found what you were talking about. The issue is that it didn't really work. The main issue is how they made my character look.

Is there a way to just disable the lighting on the necklace? Or maybe reduce the effect?
