Lollia Posted March 2 Share Posted March 2 Been playing around with a new mod idea concerning horses, but it seems that they cannot be spoken to by the player normally. After some experimentation, enabling PC dialogue through a small Race edit permits it to take place--but the problem is that the dialogue only appears once the player is mounted atop the saddle. I was hoping for face-to-face conversations given some of the interactions involved, so I thought it best to ask if anyone is aware of some way I can get the dialogue to show up along side the default Ride option? I try to keep my mods SKSE free, which probably limits my options here, but it never hurts to ask. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
PeterMartyr Posted March 13 Share Posted March 13 Block the default activation then handle it when the player activates the horse, for either riding or speaking. To keep simple place a Human NPC in holding cell, out of the Game Worldspace, and your really talking them, it just smokes and mirrors, no one will know the difference. Plus you can use the NPC for Saddlebags, just place some thing that looks saddlebags on the back of the horse, profit and bargain. The Saddlebags will fill up and have limited space, just like NPC, cos it is an NPC. You can do all that vanilia, tooo.... 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
