Caldeon
Hi! I am creating a mod and I want to have it as clean as possible. I normally avoid editing vanilla cells but at some points I need to place a xmarker, to make things spawn where I want etc. So when this is done I use the autoclean from FO4Edit. But my mod would still carry all the vanilla precombine data of the cell. They are not changed in anyway, so I would think I wouldnt need them in my mod. Spoiler I also looked into a CC mod and this also carries the data from the vanilla cell. So my question is, do I need to clean my mod manually from these identical records or is this a common thing that we better leave as it is? pepperman35
A way this is done with touching anything and/or breaking precombines within the vanilla cell, would be to lock/freeze all the layers of that area and then create a new layer relative to your mod. You would then add the xmarker, etc into the layer you created. This approach minimizes breaking anything.
