warchest
I've been painstakingly searching for the Form ID for this item in xFOEdit and what shows as "FederalistDisplayBoxWallShort01_Enclosed_prewarClean [STAT:000D2A5A]" is in fact not "prewar" nor "clean" when I used the command "placethere d2a5a". I'm guessing I have either the wrong Form ID or it's the right one but only reskinned.
AndalayBay
You could install Better Console and then click on the object from the console in-game. It will give you the object details.

The display cases in vault 118 just so happen to be one of those places.
AndalayBay
I have found that you need to find the right spot to click on the object. I've also had it that nothing comes up, but if I keep clicking, eventually I'll find a spot where it finally shows the object I'm clicking on. I had a mod that duplicated a bunch of settlement objects and it was quite a challenge finding the spot to click on them so I could disable the duplicates. robotized
Haven't tested, but if it's possible to use Better Console together with Highlight Console Reference, you'll know when you've selected the object in question.

I did that...I tried every conceivable angle possible to get the information using Better Console and the only thing that was available was the door on the short display case. When I checked this Form ID on xFOEdit, it showed it's name and it too had the prefix "FederalistDisplay...". I then respawned it using "Placethere 1EA4D". Instead of a clean prewar display cabinet door all I got was a post-war dirty display case door. Based on this new information, it would seem that whomever created this cell must have used the regular display case Form ID's; but, somehow modified it's skin to make it look like it was prewar. It would also seem that I did in fact locate all the Form ID's on xFOEdit, based on the name prefix. In short, there is no way to spawn any prewar clean display cases using only the Form ID's. That looks like a useful mod and I'm tempted to use it but Better Console specifically says that it's not compatible with other mods that modify the console command. I did wonder about that. Unfortunately I don't know anything about the CK's ability to manipulate meshes. Have you tried opening the object in the CK? Perhaps there's a way to make a new object out of the tweaked one that you could use in the game.
RolazLaguna
I just had a look in CK and found in this cell (DCL03Vault118) the following: FederalistDisplayBoxWallShort01_Enclosed_prewarClean, Material Swap: BldClean. FormID: 000D2A5A FederalistDisplayBoxWallTall01_Enclosed_prewarClean, Material Swap: BldClean. FormID: 000D2A58 FederalistDisplayBoxWallShortIntact01, Material Swap: BldClean. FormID: 0018EA4B FederalistDisplayBoxWallShortIntactLid01, Material Swap: BldClean. FormID: 0018EA4D FederalistDisplayBoxMidNarrowIntact01, Material Swap: BldClean. FormID: 001C9050 I hope this helps.

Unforetunatly, "placethere [Form ID]" places a post-war display case and not the clean, pre-war case as seen in Vault 118.. The one thing I did notice is the fact that these are the base game's codes for the display cases and not specific codes for Far Harbor.... they should have the load order number in front of it, which it doesn't. In short the creator of Far Harbor must have taken the original display cases and re-skinned/meshed them to look clean and new. I'm guessing that must be the reason for the term "Material Swap" in it's name. I thank everyone for their help. However, I'm at a point where I don't think I'll be able to duplicate the clean pre-war display cases which looked really nice in Far Harbor.
