Unfortunately the old feedback board I linked to has been disabled so I'll explain briefly again: mod author reacts to comments with hearts, and anyone can give a like to a worthy comment, this is how react without bloating the comments. Without this, thanks and +1 (meaning agree/vote) will make comments less functional, especially while comment search function is dead.

Requesting a 'heart' button for comments on uploads you are the owner of.
Nothing fancy, could be just another option in the 'Manage' drop-down that would stick a little heart and author's avatar on the comment, like on Youtube, to show appreciation for comments without having to reply every time.
