New UI - Aesthetic feedback

The new Search should default to Mods. I really dont want to click Mods every time I search. I bet 99% of people that search are searching for Mods. And if you dont click Mods you have to click Mods in the results because it only shows 5 Mods and then useless Images...

Too much wasted space, the actual content feels weirdly detached and like it's "floating" in emptiness somehow.  Even some minimalist framing or subtle color blocking around the sections would go a long way to making the section divisions clearer and the empty space less empty.

Make it so when I mouse over the name of the mod I get a pop-up with the full name. Right now its far too cramped to see the name of the mod and I have to actually open the mod page to see what it is. It didn't used to be like that. Other than all the extra scrolling I have to do that's my biggest bugbear with the new design.

Website scaleability is off and needs fixed. These screenshots are from a ultrawide monitor. The fact that with the new ui looks like a mobile site on desktop site, can only see or browse 5 mods at a time just goes to show you guys put the mobile phone experience first over desktop usersbase. which is the only way any thing on your website can be installed. Your site and service does not support any kind of mods for mobile devices. The fact you put mobile expericence over desktop users base is mindblowing and negligent.

Everyday I login and expect this to be fixed. It's so blatantly, obviously wrong, yet it never gets addressed. Why are the fricking mod tiles so narrow? All the titles are cut off. It looks stupid and impossible to read.

We have also reduced the number of ads served on these pages by 40%, by completely removing the left and right-hand side ad space, which is why it feels like there’s extra space on the game home pages. This has allowed us to add extra width to main listing pages for wider screens — we want to explore doing the same for the game homepage.

I think you should do this ASAP. It will make things feel less claustrophobic. Just expand the narrow mod tiles horizontally into the empty spaces. Also, since you'll have more horizontal space with no vertical ad bars, make the hotfiles 7 mods again.

The new UI Aesthetic is not good. Even with the latest post not sure what this design is attempting to improve on when the old default layout was very good.  Really never changed off of it as it met my needs to find mods for the games I was interested in quickly.  Don't care particularly for the the popular collections on the main game landing page. Much prefer more mods immediately under trending with collections as maybe a tab to select without taking priority away from discovering mods.  The site theme colors aren't good when browsing for mods it is exhausting to look at and some mods have rather lengthy text fields with important details that need to be read and understood. At the moment grateful for the community CSS mods to mod the website view in order to browse the website comfortably and with the required information at hand.

The new "improved?" search function is unfortunately still present as there is only so much the CSS mods can fix. The previous search function to find mods in a timely manner was much preferable. Generally speaking when on a mod page for a game or on the game page I am searching for other mods in that game and not much else. When on the sites main page I am generally searching for a game or looking to select one of my favorites. In general navigation I've done via the top bar of the website in order to change games, collections, etc. very much not looking to do that when searching.

this. Why when I'm searching for mod I have to click mods? Why when I search for mods while in games page does it transfer me on somebody's page. Especially when the said somebody never even interacted with the said game.

I'd rather see "no results" as it used to be than be transfered to somebody's page. Especially one filled with inapropriate stuff in their 'About Me' section.
