pepperman35
Reallusion's Character Creator 4. This showed up in my feed...looks interesting and I wonder how applicable it would be for the Fallout 4 pipeline.
South8028
https://cascadeur.com/ This thing works. It works with any skeleton, you can import a fo4 skeleton and export the animation back to fbx. It uses AI instead of motion capture.
ChuckYufarley
I actually took the plunge on CC4 a while back. Had fun with it for a while, then kind of lost interest. I was working on bringing in some custom NPC character meshes to FO4 and all the bells and whistles inside CC4 had me reaching for my wallet in no time.. I managed to get one character imported into FO4, but the difference in the level of graphics between CC4 and FO4 was striking. My character looked fantastic in the one and like a potato in the other. However, I did manage to port over a number of useable animations and I still dip into it every now and then for the occasional texture or body part. In fact, I just discovered it contains a nice horse model I'm thinking of making a FO4 project out of. The software wasn't overly pricey, but they operate much like the typical live service game by gouging you at every turn for this and that. They give you just enough to work with in the base product to get you interested, in hopes you'll continue forking over cash for additional products. I think I went in for another $60-$70 for animations and a few other things.
