Fallout 3 Mod questions

I have that Fallout 3 GOTY GOG edition because my DVD don't work. Reason is that annoying Windows LiveID bug.

So my question is:

1) Do these modes work on GOG or not?

2) If that is a case then what version I need to buy.

3) What tools I need to make Fallout 3 mods? I can make those BAT .txt scripters for weapons and items. That is all now I can do.

The GOG version is 1.7.0.3 so you haven't got to mess around with any patches which is a good thing, it's also LAA which means you don't have to patch it to use 4GB of memory, another good thing. 

Yes all the mods will work, to make mods you need the GECK which can be found here don't forget the 1.5 update file. 

BAT files are just a way to execute console commands so yeah they work.

Hey. Thanks for reply. Also I want to know: Does these mods work on Epic Games version? I got it there free.

One more question: Where can I get mod list for Fallout 3 so I don't get conflicts and crash the game? I know I need that unofficial Fallout 3 Patch. Also that Fallout Mod Manager maybe good help for that.

I would avoid the Epic version, I've not heard good things about it. As for mods it's been so long since I've played Fallout 3 that I couldn't give you an up to date list, maybe someone else will see this thread and chime in.

Thanks for advices so far: I am gonna do it like this:

1) Download all stuff I need.

Then.

2) Ask HOW to install them.

I already downloaded over 20 of those mod files.
