LazyDunmer Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I have created a bat file for Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 that bypasses Easy Anti Cheat. Does anyone know if I can safely upload this to Nexus without falling foul of any rules because of an oversight/ignorance on my part? The file doesn't copy/remove anything and was created from scratch. Thanks
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted June 18 Community Manager Posted June 18 Does your file in any way enable piracy or disrupt an online multiplayer environment? Those things are parts of the ToS that may clash with what you're trying to do.
LazyDunmer Posted June 18 Author Posted June 18 Thanks for the reply. No people are required to own the Steam version and the file will lock the mod users out of multiplayer. I created this with the intent of allowing people who want to experience the single player game without an intrusive software being force installed for offline play only. I am aware that mods in a multiplayer environment are a big no as it can a) break TOS as you say b) lead to innocent parties having their saves corrupted potentially.
