NEJester Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Hi everybody, I installed and played Fallout London using the roll back from the developers, played the game a few issues with crashe's like everyone else. Once completed deleted every instance of FOL including saves etc. Then deleted FO4, reinstalled and the game is unplayable, jerky movements when in game, open pipboy and all movment is ultra slow, try to build anything and the movements jump betwen fast and slow.. I even deleted and reinstalled on a clean drive. Something Bethesda has done??? Even bought the game on GOG or whatever it is but wont let me play as I need cloud storage or some rubbish. ASnybody have any ideas??
subaverage Posted July 21 Posted July 21 You say that you deleted the game. That means you did not use any uninstall routine, right? Did you delete the 3 ini files ...\Documents\My Games\Fallout 4, too? If not, you need to. If you kept them there might be settings coming from FOLON that don't work well in FO4. Did you delete your "plugins.txt", too. If not, you could do so and see what happens. A last attempt can be to delete every single entry of Fallout 4 and Fallout London out of the Windows registry, but this has to be done very carefully and with a backup before.
SpookywasHere Posted July 21 Posted July 21 You have to remove every Fallout 4 instance from your PC, it has to be a complete reinstall.
fraquar Posted July 21 Posted July 21 (edited) GOG requires nothing. Don't install GOG version with the GOG Galaxy software - download the Offline files and install with that. ----- GOG Galaxy isn't anywhere near as bad as Steam - but at the end of the day ALL of those "game utilities" are primarily designed with Multiplayer in mind - and Fallout 4 is a Single Player game. Once you install it - you should be the one vetting any updates and choosing to either a) Install immediately, b) Install later, or c) Never install. Single Player games don't require "synchronization" to be able to play - there is nothing to synchronize. Edited July 21 by fraquar
