papillion33 Posted Wednesday at 06:34 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:34 PM Hello, since some time I'm getting a permanent failure message (see attached photo) what is causing the problem that some mods cannot be installed properly. I need help to understand, how I can solve this. I understand that most mods I have installed work fine, but some lately added mods are causing a problem and cannot be installed. I have lots of games installed on this 1TB SSD-Drive: - Drive C, This Partition is containing the Windows 11 Operating System and - Drive D, This partition has all the Games installed and the Vortex-Mods Folder I understand that Games have 'User-Data' entries in Drive 'C' while the actual Game-Folder is on other Drives - also this particular Game (Stalker 2 Heart of Chernobyl). That is why I don't understand the error-message (see attached) that 'some Folders' are not in the same Partition? Please help me to understand why it seems to work for most of my MODs (11) but not for the last once I tried to install? Many thanks in advance Rgds Ingo
HeyYou Posted Wednesday at 07:00 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:00 PM It's because the game is not on the C drive.... Saves is likely in My documents, in the folder for your username, and appdata most certainly is in there. (hidden folder though.)
