hi i was just wondering.. is it possible to somehow start a new game using your existing character?

 

the thing is i have so many mods installed and its all getting into a massive mess and the game has become unstable. i would like to start over using the FOOK mod as it uses pretty much all the mods i use anyway but more organised and with alot more stuff added.

 

it took me literally AGES to get my character looking how i want, but it took many hours into the game of me using showracemenu constantly to get it right, so i dont have any early savegames with the character looking like it does. it would be really nice to begin a fresh with all the nice mods and a character that i like from the off. i have tried many times with a new game but i always stop a few hours in because i miss my old character :( :(

 

anyone know? is there a way using the geck or something? thanks in advance for your help :thumbsup:

If you mean with the same look, sure... just keep tweaking til you like it. :P

Idea: screenshot the sliders in the various categories on the showracemenu dialog and refer back to them as you make your new one. Only works if you can find a way to see them that doesn't cause problems for your game. (For me, I'd have the shots pulled up on my laptop next to me) ....or memorize the slider positions. ;)

evilneko yeh i tried that i had the screenshots of each slider on a laptop too but it never seemed to end up looking the same :P fallout character creation is very strange! it seems to have a mind of its own :wacko:
