ohaidougy
Hey guys, sort of new to the forums and I needed to ask a question about my game of Fallout. So i'm using Fallout 3 with the dc moods weather mod and enb and i'm noticing in some interiors that there is this gray foggy wall that is visible mostly in corridors. http://i.imgur.com/jYrj5Hh.jpg Are there any values in the fallout.ini or falloutprefs.ini to remove this kind of thing? BlackRampage
That's caused by your ENB's settings, not Fallout's own config files. Most likely overdone bloom setting (as seems almost standard nowadays). Check by disabling bloom in your ENB's in-game config menu. Bloom values can be modified in "enbseries.ini" in the main game folder.
JovianStone
I'm not using an ENB so that's definitely not from an enb. I 'm trying to find a fix for the EXACT same issue. In fact, I'm at the exact same location on the ship. I tried DC Moods but decided Enhanced Skies was more for me. I never considered it could be caused by fog. It's relative to camera position, ie when you look to the right or left, the closer the camera is to the "fog" ,the better the image looks. It's hard to explain but if you toggle free camera in the console: TFC and pull out of the cell, you'll see the "fog" is the color of the lighting/base area. Then pull out even further you'll see the enitre interior react as I described above. I assumed it was draw distance but it's waaay to short especially considering exterior draw distances are much longer. The problem remains when I disable all my mods so I'm leaning towards a draw distance issue. I would post images if i knew how, besides url linking. ShawnDriscoll
This just started happening to me recently in my Fallout 3. The distance is chopped off on all meshes while indoors. Like a clipping distance for the camera has been shortened. Tunnels are no longer dark at the end of them. Instead, the sky is showing. I been removing mods to see which one did it. I've checked my INI files, and they are still the default (except for the dual core CPU setting I changed to get Fallout 3 to work on my new computer).
