atlanas
Hi All I used the guide at RealVision ENB by SkyrimTuner http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30936/ and had the game successfully running just prior to installing the optional mods. I stayed away from the plugins that seemed risky and so installed a lot less than what was listed. After installing some of the optional mods I began having a CTD issue at the start of the game always at the same position (during the escape shortly after character creation). My FPS were constantly at around 40 and I ran BOSS and cleaned files to no avail. I suspected a script but as I have mostly texture mods I couldn't see which one was causing issues. I then turned on logging via adding following lines in Skyrim.ini [Papyrus]fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0bEnableLogging=1bEnableTrace=1bLoadDebugInformation=1 The log in ..\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script\Papyrus.0.log had the following:[01/25/2014 - 04:27:03PM] Error: Attempting to stop an invalid sound instancestack: <unknown self>.Sound.StopInstance() - "<native>" Line ? [ (0E00BAF8)].FXBirdFleeSCRIPT.OnTriggerEnter() - "FXBirdFleeSCRIPT.psc" Line 33 I suspected one of the bird mods so I deactivated the SkyBirds mod. After that I was able to play for an hour and exit cleanly. Although the CTDs have stopped the error still recurs in the Papyrus logs... [01/25/2014 - 06:11:42PM] Error: Cannot call Play() on a None object, aborting function callstack: [ (0E008EA6)].FXBirdFleeSCRIPT.OnCellAttach() - "FXBirdFleeSCRIPT.psc" Line 19[01/25/2014 - 06:11:42PM] warning: Assigning None to a non-object variable named "::temp1"stack: [ (0E008EA6)].FXBirdFleeSCRIPT.OnCellAttach() - "FXBirdFleeSCRIPT.psc" Line 19[01/25/2014 - 06:12:03PM] Error: Attempting to stop an invalid sound instancestack: <unknown self>.Sound.StopInstance() - "<native>" Line ? [ (0E008EA6)].FXBirdFleeSCRIPT.OnTriggerEnter() - "FXBirdFleeSCRIPT.psc" Line 33 I still have Birds and Flocks by Kazoomie and Birds of Skyrim by Qasiermo but I don't want to disable these if I don't have to. ZeroSbr1
What really sticks out to me is this: CoT-WeatherPatch_NL3.esp=1 You have this activated, and you don't have a night level plugin from CoT itself. Probably a missing master if you ask me.
