I'm right at the end of the game (before you assault the Jefferson Memorial with the Sarah and her Lyons' Pride do-gooders). Now, when I enter the Lab and walk down the stairs to talk to Elder Lyons, the game hangs! I think it is trying to load that dialog sequence between Sarah and the Elder. This doesn't occur at all. The menu turns off, and I'm just sitting there twiddling my thumbs staring at both of them. The only method that I found that works to initiate dialog with the Elder is when I have the console active and type in 'tcl'. That way I'm able to float around the cell and can start the dialog sequence with him. But, once that's out of the way, the game still hangs! Is there some way to correct this? I have quite a few mods. Though, they haven't interfered with the game in previous saves. Now, the only other thing that comes to mind as to why this MIGHT have screwed things up was if I had accidentally clicked on Sarah (with the console active) and typed 'resurrect' in an earlier part of the game. If that's the case, is there some in-game script that I can enter via the console to reset the Lab sequence? Or am I totally screwed? evilneko Posted July 9, 2009 Share Posted July 9, 2009 The command to reset quests is resetquestThe id for American Dream is 00014E8F Looking at the wikia The American Dream involves the stuff in Raven Rock too, so you probably won't want to reset the whole thing. Unfortunately, I don't know the stage ids for use with the setstage command. Also, post your load order. In FOMM, right click your mod list and select export or copy to clipboard. VerbalEarthworm Posted July 9, 2009 Share Posted July 9, 2009 the Fallout3.sem MUST load be loaded first (top) in your loadorder, as evilneko quite rightly pointed out. the general rule is that all .esm plugins are loaded before all .esp plugins, with Fallout3.esm as the first (top) in your FOMM load order. anything else will lead somewhere strange. Another thought... Rideable Prime and Rideable Creatures may be conflicting, assuming the Prime one's not just a plugin for Rideable Creatures. The first time around, I grabbed the FEV virus BUT I did not make the Eden self-destruct. This time around I did. I went back to the Citadel to talk to the Elder and same crap happened. I'm starting to think that Sarah is the problem since her dialog is necessary for this end mission to work. Fortunately, I have a previous save BEFORE I met up with Eden. I'm gonna try that route again and see what happens. If I still get the same result, I'm gonna try it your way, evilneko. So far, Rideable Prime and Creatures hasn't caused me any issues. But, let me continue my "experiments". I really don't want to disable the Rain and Snow mod 'cause it's really nice. However, in one previous test, I did notice that if you do decide to nuke Megaton, you don't see the mushroom cloud. So, that was weird. I know what you're thinking: TOO MANY DAMN VARIABLES HERE! LOL That's why I keep saying, FOMM needs a MOD CONFLICT DECTECTOR like in Oblivion. I'll keep you guys updated. ;) ~K PS Yeah, I have some robots but they're not following me.
