Lisnpuppy: It's all the morning that i experienced this down for maintenance window, i understand that maybe weekends could be the most traficated time in a week, but in the past weeekends i was perfectly able to use the whole site, messenger, downloading mods, endorsing images...

For now i stil can't go from here to the nexusmod page without encountering the down for maintenance window...

I hope this will be resolved soon, i mean that i hope it's not a big problem for the site...

It is odd that I have no issue at present navigating the Skyrim Nexus file site.....:(

Currently we are seeing our sites balk at 8500 users all trying to download at the same time. (We currently have almost 6.8 Million users) It's being worked on.

Why do these problems always have to happen on weekends? Well, that's when there are more people trying to download more mods than during the week when a lot of you are in school or at work.

Why can't we be as reliable as Amazon or some other sites? Amazon and those other extremely reliable sites are only there to allow you to give them money for products (profit) - our product (mods) is FREE. And besides that you do not have to pay anything either. Being premium does not get you any more or better mods than the leechers. They have a dedicated staff of hundreds of paid support people working 24/7 - we have just a very few paid support people that do need to sleep from time to time, They have a support budget of millions - Our budget is somewhat smaller. They own their servers and back up servers on specially built sites with multiple redundant back up.- We haven't quite made enough millions to build our first dedicated server facility yet ( and probably never will) Instead, we lease from various server companies.

Believe me Lisnpuppy, is hard for me to navigate through the site, and i don't download, simply watch my messenger adn nexus profile, few minutes ago i was able to finally go also in the main nexusmod page but then go to another page first i had the 500 internal error message, and then refreshing the same down for maintenance page that i saw almost all the morning...

And i usually don't download mods via nmm because of these issues, i always dowload mods manually and then from my desktop put them in nmm...

Almost everytime, when refreshing the page, i have the message: error empty response, and in my native language a sentence that tells me that the server didn't send any data....

I can only navigate through here, in forum and messenger area now...

Thanks..That is Bean the Boston Terrier. lol

I am not a coder either. However I just am posting here to give some feedback like you, and hopefully any info we can provide will help pinning these issues down and beating them into submission.

edit: And now it is back for me again!!

Me too, i'm watching here if someone could tell something useful, i saw 2 links from another moderator, but i can't go there and read, sometimes i try to click on nexusmods but still the result is the same...

I tried also to pm support with contact us option, but i wasn't able to do this too...

Got onto Skyrim Nexus for almost 10 minutes, then got a "500 internal error" message followed by the "maintenance" message once again! I fully understand that weekends and especially Sundays are the busiest times for the Nexus but I wonder if there may be more going on than just site traffic exceeding the capability of the Nexus to stay online!
