jemiari
Well, I deactivated every single one of my plug-ins and started a new game to test this and it looks like there isn't any scripted lighting for vanilla interior windows. I checked in the CS and they appear to be simply part of the walls... Could someone with more experience please confirm this?

They're part of wall, or whole building interior. When you make an interior, you simply put random light(likely Common(color)(radius)) near window. If you want some real day/night indoor, you will need to make a script to enable/disable such light by time. **I think Natural Interiors did such job, but instead of getting NI beta, I suggest you to use Weather-All Natural. **For custom house, OkamiShonen/WyntonBeZen's house mods have 'natural' indoor lighting.
