Ladyarafel
Hi, I been trying to figure this out for a while but no luck so far, so here we go I'm trying to make some clothes for oblivion using a semi-transparent texture from CanadianIce's Morrowind dresses and robes mod and a few other mods, but they aren't showing up in-game and I can't seem to figure out why. They work fine in Blender and Nifskope but they come out invisible in-game except for the body parts underneath.I've tried adding the Nialphaproperty in Nifskope, editing the mesh in Blender, and editing the texture in Gimp but still nothing. I've even tried using the original mesh updating it with the Nifupdater and Blender. :wallbash: If anybody can help me that would be great. Oh, and one more question, can you use any clothing meshes from Morrowind and put them into Oblivion, if you update them? :thanks: in advance. alex2avs
use ENVMAP2 as material , and play with the alpha slider after that ;) edit : about the clothes. yes(personal use scenario) : import them in blender , rig them to an Oblivion skeleton , weight paint them (not sure about Uv mapping here) export them , and here they are ;)

I used the env setting in blender, but it didn't work. How do I rig them to an Oblivion skeleton exactly, and much weight should I paint them with? :thanks:
alex2avs
i meant to set the envmap2 as material for the texture in nifskope (it's right under the texture path in the block details(f3)

Ladyarafel
It didn't work. :wallbash: Only the sleeves show up still.
alex2avs
It didn't work. :wallbash: Only the sleeves show up still. did you applied the envmap2 tp every material in the nif ? oh... it seems to be a misunderstanding here ... sorry  if the texture doesn't show up you'll need to create a normal map for it. (I thought you wanted to make a mesh transparent)
Ladyarafel
I did, but it's still invisible, except for the sleeves.
