Keirgarth
Wow, Daggerfall, someone is dredging up some old games :)
TheReverendTholomewPlague
I tried Daggerfall just yesterday, but couldn't get past the controls :/ It was so damn difficult to just MOVE, let alone attack..If someone were to mod it for ease of use, I would definitely play it. If you go into the options, you can set the controls up for mouse look with a simple little checkbox :). When you've done that, just set up the other controls to be more WASD based. Solus200
Just so everyone is aware of this: Dagger XL This is an entire rewrite of the Daggerfall engine, to basically make it play like Morrowind, though with only slightly improved graphics (but much improved lighting) entire bugfixes, higher resolution patches, etc. Check it out for yourself! It's currently only in the late alpha stages, but I've been tracking it for months eagerly waiting for a full release!
WaterlowJ
ive just started playing daggerfall :) i mean i have recently looked into going backwards in the TES series to be honest i didnt like skyrim i bought morrowind and then saw daggerfall was free. i think it would be better for a younger gamer like me to get into it if there were a couple of gameplay mods or something who knows? well im still searching for the elusive arena :)
NexusRanger
Also, not sure if this has been mentioned yet or not, but I'm fairly positive I've seen some user-made mods & adventures for Daggerfall (with links) mentioned in the DF section of the UESP wiki, along with patches / fixes. These are for the original DOS-based release, mind you - so if you're not into its current form, Dagger XL might be the way to go. :)
NexusRanger
Waterlowj - Arena is also available as a free download from Bethesda as well; even comes with a .pdf file for setting it up under DOSBox. :D

James4187
I want daggerfall to keep going as a great game and not be neglected by its graphics In other words some mods might be nice
bben46
We support mods for ANY game that allows mods - That includes Daggerfall as well.
TenShadows
I'd like to see Daggerfall be turned into something closer to the new games: smaller and more compact, with hand-made quests and dungeons and cities and everything. Or am I speaking blasphemy?
