Hymenaeus
Hey. Well day before yesterday I DLed Point Lookout (excellent dlc btw)... but to my great surprise, when I hit lvl 30, I continued to get XP... in fact, after running around Maryland I was level 32... and about half-way to 33. Yeah, I know some people find it cool and all, but frankly no level cap sucks - at this rate I'll have all skills at 100 and no perks to buy... whoopie. I was wondering if anyone was experiencing this. On the technical side, I'm running Fallout 3 version 1.0015 with the fake patch and a couple of Alystin's DLC fixes (I just can't play with the official patches, I get CTDs every 2mins, every other save and at zone changes). I use no level modifying and/or uncapping, no perk modification mods, etc. As for DLCs, I use The Pitt, Broken Steel, and Point Lookout. Any help welcome... I'm sick of levelling! gsmanners
AFAIK there is no way to go above level 20 except with Broken Steel, and I don't recall anyone complaining about being able to go beyond 30. Then again, I'm not sure what the status is of Fake Patch and Point Lookout, so who knows (I don't think it's a good idea). Maybe just to be safe you should list all your mods so we all can double-check whether you really don't have a level mod.
overload1977
there are mods out there that let you go to level 99 if you look for them
VerbalEarthworm
i can't see your problem. there are mods to allow skills to be used when over 100 (Wasteland Mastery) or add new perks (Ultimate Perk Pack) etc. widen your horizons a bit...
JahRasta
If you're worried about levelcap, check the mods you have...if you have some overhaul mods or something of that nature, it may have a part that allows for no level cap, check around.
