Warchief DragonBorn

So your riding along the plains of Skyrim, everything is nice and cool. When a Dragon attacks!!!

Oh wait. Your the Dragonborn.

Now that your wounded and tired, you find your way to the nearest shelter which just so happens to be an Orc Stronghold. Wait. You have to do a quest for these asshole's to actaully be allowed in. These guys who just watched you kill a dragon? Are they aware of who you are?!

Screw them! You will go make your own tribe....With blackJack...and Hookers!

This was my response when one of the stronghold orc's told me I couldn't come after I just took out a dragon. Now see I was fine with that because, lets face it, that's what half this war is about. But I felt that the warrior race of orc's should at least have given credit where it was due. I wasn't asking to take over their tribes or anything just for a bed to rest.

So why not make your own stronghold. Your already head of the Dark BrotherHood, Thieves Guild, Companions, Archmage and Thane of Most areas in the land(as well as dragon born), so what's having power over a small stronghold where you can drink, battle, be merry and have a good time with your followers.

See I always found the companions hall a little....well confined and wanted something a lot larger. And then I see the Orc's basically have exactly what I'm looking for.

So I was thinking wouldnt it be great if there was a mod where:

1. You became a Warchief of an orchish stronghold(yay) whose current leader had died(I heard somewhere its whoever kills him that becomes leader but I could be mixing that up. Either way would be interesting to see as there was always some orc ready for a fight)

2. You must fend off all the other contenders for your spot as chief (FIST FIGHTING TIME!!!!)

3. Snatch and grab Malacath ingredients(Your gonna need his blessing )

4. Become Chief.

Anyway's following that Id say would be some quests so as to gain the respect and authority to become the warchief of this tribe and so on.

So what you guys think? Anyone else really want to lead a bunch of orc's?

That could be the issue. However, if your battleblood than maybe there is some kind of Loophole.

You cant say there is not some room for a mod like this (even if orcs wouldnt follow you) and there is room for say Anime theme songs being sang in taverns rather than the usual music.

Or not many people think that Orcs would accept anyone but another orc as their leader.

It's not that far-fetched. The Great Houses of Morrowind are one of the Dunmer's most important cultural organizations, and they're a very racist race, generally. You could join them as anyone. I don't see why the Orcs would have that much of a hurdle when they meet someone honorable and respectable in their eyes and code.

Especially since they've been so marginalized, they would need at least some assistance in certain cases. Not to mention the game could be about making history. Talos was a great dragonborn, and he became an imperial emperor. Could it not be said that another dragonborn could overcome racial tensions with honorable acts and courage, and become the leader of a group of orcs, perhaps at first lacking the respect that generally only comes with orc lineage?

Exactly!

Hence why I added the Malacaths Blessing Idea!. Lets face it, Malacaths their God! If you can get his blessing as a chief the other orcs cant really argue. So maybe, have the tribe been in dire need of a leader and because you are battle blood, you have the opportunity to enter. Fist fighting two or three guys (arena/ Knights of the nine style?). After Victory, the other orcs in the village/stronghold resent having a(n) Breton/Elf/Imperial/RedGard/Nord/ Khajit/ Argonian as a leader instead of a true Orc.

Then you face a few quests that will lead up to getting the Orc gods blessing.

Thoughts?

Exactly. I mean Argonian's may be the least effective race in the game(just my opinion). Where's The Orc love guys?

Just some small fort placed somewhere like near Rorikstead and maybe you do a mission for the dying chief and he announces that you should be the next chief or something like that.

The idea could focus on you taking over a tribe of orc's who were known as the runt tribe by the other tribes. Or something like that. Some reason why there is in need of a new leader.

As Am I!

I mean I was pissed off when the dwemer didnt get explained to us and then there is so much Orc hate. I mean come on their the best kind of warriors! Imagine having a whole crew of them praising you and treating you like you should be treated.

Hell you could use the Warchief aromor as a set you are given once you become the leader
