Best "Multiple Apparel Enchantment" mod?

Howdy folks,

I've been spending some of this afternoon tring to find a good mod that will allow me to add multiple enchantments to items in Oblivion (prefareably without limitation on how many).

So far I have tried Advanced Magecraft http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15587 and Multiple Enchantment Effects on Apparel http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8862. The latter unfortunately works in a way that if I, for example, enchant a pair of steel boots, then ALL steel boots in the game get the same enchantment(s). As to the former, I couldn't get it to work with regards to enchanting apparel multiple times despite going over the readme a few times (not helpful) and messing with it for around 40 mins.

I noticed this mod here simply called Multiple Enchantments - http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9423. I was going to try this but reading the comments on it, it seems a lot of people have trouble getting it to work in the first place, and you have to go though a quest (groan).

I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions to other mods that allow multiple enchantments on apparel or guidence on how to use Advanced Magecraft to achieve the same thing?

Cheers!

Funny. As of Multiple Effects on Apparel Beta 3, there's no such problem(The author claims it was fixed after Beta 2). However, I haven't try it with OBSE 0017(a), I don't know if it will work well.

How about trying 'Enchantment Enhanced' or 'Enchantment Mastery'?

Horadric Cube adds jewelcrafting to the game, which can add additional magic effects to weapons and armour that stack along with an enchantment by letting you embed different gems into your item. Depending on the item, you can embed multiple gems, as well, for even more effects.

Thanks for the replys lads. I ended up using Multiple Enchantments and it works a treat. Though the Skeleton that comes back after every enchantment is a pain.

I may as well use this thread to ask about Merchant mods, specifically if anyone can reccommend any that add better armours/weapons to the merchants in Oblivion (though not so much that EVERY item is Ebony/Glass etc etc etc). I'm level 22 right now and I still only find stuff better than steel very rarely.

Cheers folks. :thanks:

I prefer Advanced Magecraft. its the best once you get the hang of it. but for mercheant mods.... I'd get the entire RealSwords pack because those are really nice. If you are in the mood for some massive dungeon crawling for weapons instead find Nicoroshi Creations. And if you want to have an amazing character get HeX's Throw Any Weapon mod. It doesn't add items but you can kill peopl with any item you can pick up
