Epis0dezer0 Posted January 30, 2014 Share Posted January 30, 2014 (edited) So they've finished releasing official DLCs, and for those of us who have exhausted all but the endless repetitive quests, I feel I'm not alone in seeking closure. If I had the chops, I'd make it myself, but with all the talented modders here, I'm sure someone else can do it better. A simple mod to signify that yes, the job of the dragonborn is complete, his/her place in the ongoing stories of the realm is complete. A door to Sovngarde, manifested at a statue to the dragonborn that appears at Helgen where he first entered the story or at the throat of the world, where the hero is greeted by a few NPCs, who assure you that your story will be told in Skyrim as long as there are people left to tell it, maybe a feast. I'd be more than happy to write the dialogue, if some modder wants to take on the task of designing the sequence. Then maybe just a few key scripted cutscenes, the companions, or the Jarls, or maybe a follower placing flowers at the statue, the greybeards perhaps shouting into the sky, something like that. Haha, I think your idea is brilliant though. I remember after I finished the main quest line I was just like "Is that it?". Of course there was other quests but I'd done most of them all ready. The Hero of Kvatch got a statue, the Nerevarine even got his own cult (wait! a cult to the Dragonborn would be nice, after all even that shitty Miraak dude has one).I support this idea (Don't have a clue about modding however).
