glue2
Hey all. My game frequently crashes on save (I use the kill yourself/reload trick, which works alright), but some cells cause me to crash just by navigating them. For instance, my game crashes whenever I move over the far side of my Tenpenny Tower suite. This can't be resolved with the suicide trick. My game also crashes when making large changes to my inventory, like selling a lot of items at once. It's getting pretty annoying and hard to work around. Here's my load order-http://i.imgur.com/ohQE7aM.png The bottom one is my merged patch, created with fo3edit. It's current. I'm running the game on Windows 7 64-bit, in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3. I have d3d9.dll placed in my Fallout 3 folder. I'm running Fallout 3 v. 1.7.0.3. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
M48A5
Place your WMK, FWE and MMM .esps in the same order are your Fallout 3 .esms. Use only one restore tracers, not both. Place your compatibility patches after the last mod is makes compatible.
glue2
I tried all of your suggestions, but the game continued to freeze frequently in my Tenpenny Tower suite, so I went ahead and cut down on some mods, re-ordered everything, and switched to Blackened from FOIP. Here's my new load order. http://i.imgur.com/oTGNDpl.png The problems persist. I don't know if there are still any problems with my load order or if my saves are just messed up or what. With the exception of DCInteriors, I used the exact load order recommended in the Blackened readme. Edit: I just removed my merged patch, and that seems to have done the trick. No more freezes in Tenpenny. Are you not supposed to use it with Blackened or what? Edited January 31, 2014 by glue2
Purr4me
Blackened are custom built for what it represents, and no, do not include them in any patches, do not override custom works.study the patch you made and see what was altered and you will see why and what causes a no run condition.kitty.
