rain_man
Hello, finally got that dang OBSE editor to work and am looking for some uber quests/content(adventures) guilds, and etc type mods. This site is massive and takes all day to find something it seems. So what you guys think? If this is the wrong forums mods please move it to the correct section. :)

Eshenaleros
gotta keep in mind a storyline. take a look at the vanilla guilds here - everybody over in the spoiler section agrees that the storyline in the Dark Brotherhood was the best. why? twists, my friend, twists. That said, I think what I'd really enjoy is a guild that hunts unique monsters. Whether they be all new custom creatures or perhaps remeshed or retextured, this guild could hunt down the more sinister beasts in the wilderness. here's an idea for the first quest, if you decide to do something like this - an especially large wolf is savaging a small village in the wilderness somewhere. you're paid to go find it, stop it, and find the source of it. you come across a wolf three times its normal size with matted black fur and being aided by a pack of smaller wolves. once you kill it, you realize it has some kind of strange residue on it. when you ask the villagers about the residue, most of them are too afraid to talk. you do some roleplaying to figure out who to talk to, and that mysterious helper points you in the direction of a small cave nearby that's been known to host a wizard. the wizard takes a look at it, and tells you it's a kind of growth stimulant, meaning someone did that to a wolf on purpose. He tells you there isn't anything you can do right now, and sends you on your merry way back to the guild. later on in the quests you can have yourself doing a challenge with another member of the guild - like who can get through a dungeon first? you take separate paths and he's on a set schedule, meaning that if you don't take a certain amount of time or less he's going to beat you to the exit, and for reasons unrevealed for now, that's a very bad thing. remember, when writing the storyline, it gets more interesting if the guild has some internal strife. maybe the guildmaster sells out to someone? or perhaps the second in command is tired of being number two and wants the head seat. and remember that while the player is doing things, the other guild members should be doing things as well, like maybe off on jobs, and that means they aren't always there when you want to talk to them. as for some suggestions towards further quests - what about an elephant loose from Elyswere? people are sure to be a bit freaked out by that. Maybe a scared villager sends you on a quest that turns out to be killing the local village guardian, but as I said, the villager is scared, and now you need to get them a new guardian or goblins or ogres or something will start killing people. What about finding a half-breed of some kind that has freaked out the locals, like a half-argonian who feels bitter about his lot in life. Maybe you're sent into a dungeon on a routine hunt when a rival hunter gets there first and gloats in your face about it - he can be a real thorn in your side if he starts taking more monsters from you, and maybe he's the guy you have a challenge against to get to the end of the dungeon. and remember, monetary rewards aren't always the best. maybe a ways through a thankful villager gives you the deed t the land that he was selling anyway, giving you a house somewhere where you did a quest and saved someone. maybe there's a companion buried on the inside of one of the quests, after all, what's a guild that doesn't recruit? Vagrant0
Although we're not using OBSE, if you wanted to try your hand at some guild stuff, you might want to take a look at the Colored Rooms project. I'm sure I could probably find something to help get your feet wet.
