Xenobuzz
Hello, all! It's been awhile since I played this game, but I have played it extensively on my current system before with no problems and have made no alterations to the game of any kind. It actually took me a little time to find FOMM because I was happy with my current setup. Here's what happened recently:I started playing from my last save game, and decided to finish Operation Anchorage to get the Chinese Stealth Suit. Everything was fine. Upon completing the simulation and entering the weapons vault, there was one of those giant read and white triangles to indicate a missing texture/skin. It appeared to be on the bottom left shelf behind the Power Suit as you walk in. I don't remember what is supposed to be there. Since I didn't need the item, I did not track down the error and rectify it. Upon heading back to Megaton and then making my towards Rivet City, the CTD on save issue began. I discovered Rivet City and Anacostia Crossing. Then I decided to enter Anancostia Crossing and explore. CTD upon clicking the entrance. After making my back from my last save, I tried to save by the ramp to Rivet City. CTD. I repeated this several times with the same result. Then I tried Fast Traveling to Dukhov's Place and tried to save there. CTD. Seems like there are a lot of pontential culprits, but I'm not sure where to start. I'm damned if I can guess the problem as I haven't altered any of the game or FOMM settings for a very long time. After I launched FOMM and attempted to update, I received an error message. M48A5
There is not a functioning automatic update for FOMM. The login when you open "Package Manager" does not work and if you attempt to login, FOMM will crash. Open the "Settings" and clear the check marks next to "Check for new FOMod Versions" and "Add missing info to FOMods". Here is another problem: [X] RezDCSubwayLoadLast.esp. I believe this should be last in your load order. Fallout Remastered needs to be loaded last or removed since you are overwriting it with Xepha's Dynamic Weather. Arrange your .esp in the same order as your vanilla game. Did you make the changes in the Fallout.ini to limit your cpu to only 2 cores? With a load list like you have, you should be using a merged patch.
Purr4me
After I launched FOMM and attempted to update, I received an error message. Here's the crashdump.txt: does this mean update the fomm's template? or does this men to up date the files? as stated By (M48A5) you can not update mods. How ever, you can update fomm, if you have the correct data to do so, and that is found in my signature right here. If you wish, and know where your template is located, I can post a spoiler that contains that information so you can cut and paste it into your template.waiting. and please delete all of that post, it is not necessary Just a simple load order will do..kitty. Should I move all the Fallout Remastered mods to the bottom of the list, or just 1.0? I found the directions for modifying the Fallout.ini file I found here: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-1214935.html, and the game launched without a problem. However, after I made my way to Rivet City and tried to save, I got another CTD. I noticed that I have 463 saves, should I delete some? I only need the last dozen or so. I haven't used FO3edit before. Should I use the latest experimental version? UPDATE: I tried loading several saves, one from the very beginning of this character and was succesfull in saving all of them. I was also able to load and save the game from the Weapons Vault in the Outcast Outpost after completing Anchorage. It seems that one of saves after this became corrupted somehow. Should I try to load and save all the saves after this point to see which one is bad, or delete them and start over? I wouldn't be losing much, as the only thing I'd need to repeat is placing the Observer in the Mirelurk clutch. Thanks for your help once again, and sorry about the absurdly long post! I didn't know the last part would be so HUGE! Dave Edited February 3, 2014 by Xenobuzz
Purr4me
There is not a functioning automatic update for FOMM.Incorrect. See bellow http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3574938/fomm-0.13.21-fixed.zip The login when you open "Package Manager" does not work and if you attempt to login, FOMM will crash. This IS correct, Fomm is not a download manager "ANYMORE", it used to be or was going to be but Fomm has so many neat tools inside it, all rolled into 1 app, it is worth My while to support it. To be absolotly clear, Fomm is upgradable. The help button at it's top, click it, have it check for it's own updates, wait, mouse over the tabs when it finises, select sort, if it crashes, click the link here I provide to you and extract the data, copy it over top of your fomm installation, and repeat. now it will not crash any more and you can..I repeat, you can update the Boss template for Fomm.[X] Fallout Remastered 1.0.esp[X] Fallout Remastered - Mart's Mutants Mod.esp[X] Fallout Remastered - Fellout.esp[X] Fallout Remastered - Xepha's Darkened Interiors.esp[X] Fallout Remastered - Xepha's Dynamic Weather.espall of these go under the pile....at the bottom.kitty.
