Smirks. "That's exactly why i don't like duty. Rules rules rules rules. Don't sell that to them, don't buy that from him, don't associate yourself with those people. Its complete bull sh*t. Take what you want from who you want, as long as they are either A: Firing at you or B: Already dead. Those are my rules, and they have kept me alive for the few years I've been here."

"Here, eat this while i'm checkin it out." He hands him a small empty can filled with soup and goes to his head. After a few minutes of inspecting, Mistlav yelps in surprise. "Holy sh*t dude, you have a bullet lodged between your skin and your skull!!! How in god's name did you manage that?!"

"Then, Nina, come here, and watch. I'll take a look at the.... bullet, but it's gonna hurt like a b**ch." Flogging then takes out his bottle of vodka, some clean cloth, a suture, and some thread. "A little bit for daddy," Flogging says taking a sip of the vodka. "A little bit for the wound," he says pouring some on the wound and wiping it with the cloth. "Hmm.... Perhaps a little bit more for daddy...." Flogging says as he takes another sip. Setting the bottle down, Flogging finishes cleaning the shot wound, removes the bullet, and threads the suture and begins to sew it back together. When finished, Flogging cleans the suture, puts the cloth away and says to Tyler, "I'm amazed you didn't pass out or squirm. You're lucky it wasn't very deep. Not to be rude, but some people have thick bones that, if the bullet hits just right, can deflect the shot with minimal damage. Oh, and, you'll want to keep your head as still as possible for awhile. When it fully knits, I can take the stiches out and you should be fine. Now," he says, turning to Nina. "Are my medical procedures crude, medieval, and not the most accurate? Yes. Do they efficiently treat simple wounds? Yes. First thing to do: Asses the total damage. Second: Limit the bleeding if the wound is in a non-vital area, like an arm or leg. This can be done by tying a torniquet, or by simply elevating the wound above the level of the heart. Third, clean it. I like to use a high-proof alcohol like this one," Flogging shakes the vodka bottle. "Fourth, locate and remove any shrapnel or remains of bullets. Fifth, if it is needed, stitch it back together. Otherwise, just bandage it with some gauze. That should be about all you need to know to be a simple, battlefield medic."

EDIT: My bad fishpotatopie.... I was typing all that stuff up before you replied, so I just edited to make it reflect the bullet thing.

"yes i didnt squirm or writhe because i seem to have a high pain tolerance, i was U.S. special forces so i know how to block out pain, and its no problem i will accept that i have a thick skull." Tyler finishes up his food, then grabs the bullet, "damn... it was a .38 , it was probably a ricochet, anyways thats crazy, so where are we setting off to in the morning?"
