Saving a config

Any changes you make that affect the .ini file are saved when you exit the game. If you are having the problem of an abnormal termination - black screen and error message on exit they may not be saved properly and it will revert to the old .ini file.

You can edit the Oblivion.ini directly, and save it. and make a back up with a different name such as ObiniBack.edt. Then if you lose the .ini you are using, copy the backup and rename it back to Oblivion.ini

Complete instructions on editing the ini can be found here: http://www.tweakguides.com/

Thanks lad, but I was wondering about adding an extra command. I have figured out about my UI settings (different ini) but I have one mod that does not have an ini, and to make it do what I want (Enhanced music control) I need to type "emcenablebattleoverride" every time I load the game and I was ultimately just wondering if there was a way to make the game type/load the command automaticly.
