Starting new roleplaying playthrough, need suggestions

With the aura of Fallout 4 shadowing over us in a Half-Life 3 matter, I decided to help pass the time with a new New Vegas play-through. I have gotten some inspiration for the play-through by movies such as No Country for Old Men and Django Unchained. So I want to base it on a neo-western theme that New Vegas also has. I have also done extensive research on psychopaths and killers and wish to base it off Anton Chigurh and am currently using Someguy2000's: Bounties 1&2 McCabe's: Hitman and Rita's Cafe which all include bounties, contract killings, assassination, and others of the like. To fit the scheme of Chigurh himself, I am also using the Browning Auto-5 weapon mod. I need your help as to what other mods I should use!

He was good at medicine in the movie so I suggest investing in it and perks to help yourself heal. He's also very good with his hands and uses unusual weapons. See what you can make of that.

Also, play on hardcore. Eating, drinking and sleeping makes the game a lot more immersive. Try checking out Project Nevada as well and some weapon mods for more options etc. Good luck :)

Thanks, I am already using Project Nevada and a surgical mod, but I am yet to find anything in the wake of odd weapons like the cattle gun.

Use the FOOK-PN Convergence - probably the most comprehensive overhaul of the game, and has surprisingly few bugs.
