PsychoSubSandwich
:wallbash: I was just installing a few Mods earlier, and when I downloaded them, they had the Oblivion Icon instead of the usual 7-Zip archive and were already considered OMOD's... any help? It's kinda hard to create OMOD's like this. I even told myself, "Hey, if they are already OMOD's, can't I just drag and drop them into my OBMM folder?"... tried that, didn't work. Any ideas how I can get the usual 7-Zip Archives back...? :thanks:
AncientSpaceAeon
Umm, maybe move the OMOD to the Oblivion folder not the Data folder. Then enable it with OBMM.
bben46
Could you tell us the mods that are doing this so we can check them out?
PsychoSubSandwich
Could you tell us the mods that are doing this so we can check them out? Two of these incidents was when I tried downloading Natural Faces and the UF Patch. There were 2 more, sadly I forgot which ones they were (I was doing this at 4:00am), but I remember saying screw it, I'll ask people who know what they are doing. Maigrets
If the mods you download have the Oblivion icon they are already OMODS so you can't make and OMOD when it's already one. Put the OMOD into Oblivion\obmm\mods...not the Oblivion directory itself. The game will never find it that way. You can also just double click the file wherever you extracted it and OBMM will load it into the correct folder for you. Start OBMM and double click on the mod name in the center window. It should have a green icon showing that it's inactive and has no conflicts. When activated it will have a blue icon if done correctly. This info is also in the OBMM Help file which comes with OBMM.
