Kissimurra
It's shame that the size is so much bigger and yet the population is so much smaller.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, even if thats correct, the world will feel much more alive than morrowind. I mean the Npcs in Oblivion will be very unique and alive compared to morrowinds generic and boring npcs. MCA for Oblivion. That might be hard, all the dialogue in Oblivion is recorded, so they will have to either use the recordings that comes with Oblivion or make their own recordings, or just add text to the npcs. None of these alternatives sounds good to me.
KzinistZerg
Yeah, that will be a major annoyance for Modders- they'd all have to record voices for their NPC's!
Abramul
'The outside game space of Cryodiil is about 16 square miles. Regarding Oblivion, and the other locals. Hmmm. It’s huge. We honestly haven’t added it all up. Plus many of the Oblivion areas are random, so I guess the answer is “infinite.” Once you solve the main quest, no, you cannot go into Oblivion any more, as the gates have been shut.' Kissimurra
Sounds really good! This game is gonna be huge! :) Yeah, that will be a major annoyance for Modders- they'd all have to record voices for their NPC's! Yeah. But honestly, I dont think that MCA for Oblivion will be needed. In morrowind the NPCs were boring and generic, thats why the mod were so good. Of-topic: What a cozy little story you have on you website KzinistZerg. :)
KzinistZerg
What? Oh, hehe- I seem not to have deleted that site yet. It's my own little universe... But a MCA-for-oblivion type mod would be interesting.
Kissimurra
Yeah, but instead of adding new dialogue and just more npcs, MCA for Oblivion could add more interactivity! I do only need to say three words to explain how insanely good MCA for Oblivion might be. The Radiant AI
Switch
Erm, sorry but, what's MCA? I expect some other people are wondering too. :P
KzinistZerg
MCA is Morrowind-Comes-Alive. It's a mod that adds random NPCs to the interior and outdoor cells of morrowind, that change every time the cell is loaded. There are also bandits and plenty of people in taverns. MCA was wonderful because it allowed werewolves/vampires more people to feed on, but also because it made balmora, for instance, actually look like it was a busy town. Kissimurra
Yeah, it also added travelers out in the wild, merceneries that you could hire, traders traveling around Vvardenfell with their pack guars, plus some new outfit like capes, backpacks and other clothing.
