Timb91
Whenever I enter into an indoor area, or stay in an indoor area for a particular amount of time, the game freezes. Ctrl+Alt+Deleting usually doesn't work, so my only solution is... *shutters* restarting my PC. This is really unacceptable, and the game is 100% unplayable because of this problem. I have patch 1.6 installed, and I have a phenomenal computer that can run particular games like Crysis on Very High settings. Fallout3 runs smoothly, but when it freezes, it freezes. And it gets annoying fast. MODs: High-res Terrain MOD (2048x2048) and extra GNR tracks.
gsmanners
Make sure you read through this: http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=890373 And when you crash next time (when, not if), you need to use the keyboard. Ctrl+Alt+Del, F, Alt-E, Y If you can force quit your apps blindfolded, then you're ready to play Fallout 3.
kevlev
I might be a little late... but that high res terrain mod is causing the freeze. 2048x2048 is way too high even if you have good specs for your computer. I suggest you lower it to 1024 or 512 or just don't use it.
