Germandeathkittiez
I have to agree with you tones, Oblivion is the most hassle-filled thing to get working, even for a pc game. May I ask if you have any other mods? Make sure to install OOO FIRST when you're on a clean install. Also, do you use Wrye Bash? because I had an issue I couldn't even start the game till I started up Wrye Bash so it could figure out I was no longer using Francesco's. The yellow blocks mean meshes are not there. Make sure nothing is overwriting the data. Also use the game with just vanilla, then OOO at first. What's your body replacer mod? I dunno what else to tell you, this game is a real chore to get working, but it's worth the effort, if you have the right mods, a few, great mods. MikeHibs
That's odd. Do you have any other mods that modify similar things? If you do, there might be a conflict. If you have any mods, I would try disabling all but OOO. See if the problem still exists. And with the purple ground, i believe there is another thread that might help you. http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=138835
tones50cal
Hi guys After the first problem i got very good advice from dezimona. I wiped out everything from my c drive and reinstalled oblivion (started new game), patch, patch KOTN and then started another new game. So far so good, added mmod and exnems bodies and started new game no problems. Then added downloaded OOO putting meshes etc into the correct folders bad news problems reoccured. Wiped out mmod and exnems but still the same result, big yellow blocks etc. So i wiped out everthing again and reinstalled oblivion, patches and KOTN then OOO. The result this time was no yellow blocks but purple ground and see through npcs that were wearing OOO added gear. I have added mmod and exnems, which works and this does not affect the purple ground etc. I have been reading many of the posts on the mod problem section and they give excellent advice but on trying the purple ground fix the game goes back to big yellow blocks. I would like to try using a omod version of OOO on a new install of oblivion but does anybody know were i can get the original full 1.3 or 1.32 version in omod. Most if not all downloads in omod format seem to be updates or patches that require the install of 1.3 or 1.32 . Tanks tones :thanks:
