FlyingHearts
Help!! I want to install mods for Skyrim but I can't. I found my Skyrim folder and inside there's supposed to be a folder called Data but there isn't!? What do I do?
BlackRampage
You sure you're looking at the right folder? Exactly in what folder is your Skyrim folder located. in other words, where did you install it?
FlyingHearts
Well I was just looking around for it pretty much everywhere. It's in Libraries -> Documents -> My Games -> Skyrim. The things in the Skyrim folder is a folder named saves, a folder names UNP (which I could have put their in while trying to figure out how to install mods), a sheet named RenderInfo, a sheet named Skyrim and a sheet named SkyrimPrefs. I have no clue if that's where the folder's supposed to be or not. I just stumbled across it there.
BlackRampage
Well, that's not the right one. Only your saves and some configs are saved there. Most likely location where you've got Skyrim installed is here: C:\ Program Files \ Steam \ SteamApps \ Common \ Skyrim
FlyingHearts
In my program files I can't find a Steam folder? I even typed it up in the search bar but I don't think any of the right ones came up :/

BlackRampage
 Heh, good luck. Might want to delete that folder called UNP from Libraries -> Documents -> My Games -> Skyrim too. It's definitely not supposed to be in there.
FlyingHearts
Thanks! But just so I know it's right can you say some of the important things that should be in the Data folder? I think mine may be missing some stuff?
BlackRampage
What do you think is missing then? If you're missing folders like "Meshes" and "Textures", just create them.
FlyingHearts
Oh good! I thought they were supposed to already be there. As you've probably guessed, I'm useless at this kind of stuff
