battyman9
Ive been using Fallout Mod Manager for a while now and every now and again i download a mod which will not work due to a box popping up on FOMM when i add it on the package manager. The box tell me that "the archive contains plugins in subdirectories, and will need a script attached for FOMM to install it correctly". The result is that when i activate the mod no esps/plugins show up on the mod manager for me to tick off. This certain box in particular has popped up with various mods i have tried using and i just end up dismissing the mod and looking for something else. But the excellent Tailor Maid/Shoulderpad mod by Sin7188 is something i must have and whenever i try loading it the box pops up. ive asked around nexus and had many ideas and solutions from helpful modders like installing it directly to the Data directory and even so, the esps still do not turn up for me to tick off on FOMM. does anyone know how to get round this "the archive contains plugins in subdirectories, and will need a script attached for FOMM to install it correctly" box, as im sure im not the only one with this problem. :thanks:
Warll
'Their are 5 possible downloads available in this mod, and they are specifically modular in design in order to facilitate maximum usability. All of them are standalone mods in their own right and they are compatible with each other and their respective DLC's (if applicable). The Tailor Maid and Tailor Maid Black Retex downloads do not require any DLC to function and are fully compatible with the vanilla game. Using an actual version of 7zip (or equivalent),extract the archive into your Fallout3 > Data folder, allowing any overwrite. You must also use ArchiveInvalidationInvalidatedand ensure that the .esps are ticked in your Fallout3 launcher ( FOMM or equivalent). battyman9
To anyone who knows how to install the Tailor Maid Mood properly I've recorded myself doing the process to install the Tailor Maid V2 mod, which will still not work. I just want you to take a look at it to see if im doing anything wrong, its much better to see it through your own eyes then me writing a confusing speech about my problem on here. so yeah, if you could just take a look and reply to me about what steps im taking which are causing the plugins to not show up. here the youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yqr5o4SG_s8 :thanks: battyman9
phoneyLogic
You should have a look into your data folder, because 7zip may extract the whole packed path -> and not only the esp or the folder. => Best way is to extract the package to your desktop first, then copy the files you need into your data folder. Btw: What program is it you made the video with?

phoneyLogic
thx :)I think 7zip unpacks not the esp into data, how supposed. It unpacks "Tailor_Maid_...\esp\theMod.esp" into the data folder. This leads to a wrong folder structure and nothing happens. >>> here <<< you'll find a little guide how you could install the mod manually. First unzip the downloaded package to your desktop, then copy the "Tailor Maid.esp" file and the "meshes" folder into the Data-Dir.
