MaiqDaLiar
So, I downloaded a few modder's resources, everything was working fine, I added one static object into my cell, everything continued to work, but when I tried to add another mesh and place it in my cell, all it did was show up as a large white punctuation mark. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance!
wizardmirth
So meshes and textures should be installed as they are in the resource file, unless the original author screwed up. If comments more or less say "yay" author has made good then you should probably try again. If that doesn't work you might want to let us know who your secret resource file santa is. IkeCoast
MaiqDaLiar, the big exclamation mark means that the mesh file the static points to is missing, or is not where the mesh path in the ID of the static points to. Check your installation, make sure you put the resources where the original author packed them, and if the mesh is actually there, check the source path in the ID for the object. And yes, you should tell us which resource is so we can have a look at it and see if the mesh file is present (we need to know also which static object is supposed to be). Cheers!
