robustescapist
So, I have downloaded and installed Guard Dialogue Overhaul, and Immersive Armors; both mods that use and require SPIKE.esm. I am trying to patch Automatic Variants and the ReProccer, both are telling me me I have an ESP file which requires SPIKE.esm to run. Which is fine, I get that, and understand why. The problem is that SPIKE.esm is nowhere to be find. I am getting errors because it does not exist in my load order. Does anybody know how to fix this? Where is my SPIKE.esm? Help is much appreciated, I would very much like to be able to run these two mods. Thank you.
eSoDian
Only the old Guard Dialogue Overhaul and Immersive Armors require SPIKE.esm to run, and they come with it. The new ones (GDO v1.4 and IA v7) don't have it as a requirement anymore. Not sure how the Reproccer works (since I don't use it), but it might use old information about those mods, like BOSS still sees SPIKE.esm as a master for Immersive Armors v7, so it's giving a fake warning that can be ignored. robustescapist
That would make sense, thank you very much for the information
robustescapist
Any idea how I can ignore the warning? The only option I see as of right now is to continue, which closes the reproccer.
eSoDian
Not sure, like I said I don't use it, unless someone else can offer some insight about it, I'd suggest asking the Reproccer author about these warnings and how to go past cause if you're using the latest version of the mods that are giving you trouble, SPIKE.esm is not a requirement anymore, so the warnings are false. Excalibur4
I have an error message saying immersive armors will CTD without SPIKE.esm. Is BOSS usually correct on these things?
MumblingStumbler
I lost my spike, and now have a CTD on game load so I'm guessing yes.
myztikrice
Both Immersive Armors and Guard Dialogue Overhaul which were the only mods that relied on SPIKE.esm were both updated to not need them anymore, so no.
JC113
Alright so SPIKE.esm is not longer required for Immersive Armors (v7) nor is it required for Guard Dialogue Overhaul (v1.4).Our main issue here is that BOSS hasn't yet updated its Masterlist. For those not using the ReProccer, this isn't an issue as the warnings can be ignored. However, for those who are using the ReProccer this is an issue as it is based on the BOSS Masterlist and cancels any further actions when it encounters an error.I understand the BOSS team are under a lot of pressure to sort through 1000+ unrecognised mods and 1000's more issues, but here's hoping the BOSS team are able to quickly update the Masterlist and count the error as a false positive. If not I'm sure someone out there in the modding community has some helpful advice to have BOSS ignore the error. MumblingStumbler
So I fixed my CTD by upgrading from IA6 to IA7.
