Armor I attempted to modify shows up in geck but not in game.

So I tried editing the enclave officer outfit to fit t6m, here's a pic in the geck: http://imgur.com/3981GqH

 

But it doesn't show up in game when I equip it to test it.

 

I have done this before, with other armor, and it's worked before - I have no idea what I did differently this time and why it works in the geck preview but not in game. So some troubleshooting would be nice. What likely things would I have done wrong?
