I had one that put me in a bad spot... xDDD...

 

I went to Gridershade and did the Those! Quest.

 

The scientist says not to hurt the queen.

 

I go into the ant tunnels.

 

I kill all of her guards and proceed to walk out through the tunnel.

 

I'm Thinking: "Great Another Acheivement!"

 

I was using a missile launcher.

 

The queen glitched through the wall and got stuck in front of me. I couldnt get past.

 

It scared me so much i didnt even care what it was. I unloaded 7 missiles into it. hmmmmm.......

 

The thing pops up:

 

A) Search

Fire Ant Queen

 

F^^K!!!!!!

 

That was my epic moment. lolzzzzzz

Shameless self promotion ahead.

 

Testing out my fire rebalance mod, I loaded my usual test save where I used the raiders at Fairfax as target practice.

 

It'd been frustrating as nothing was working out quite right. The fire graphics were glitching, the effects weren't showing up right, and worst of all my damn script that was supposed to cause burning enemies to run away wasn't working right.

 

I pull out the zhurong, run up the slope and fire away.

 

And every single guy goes running for their mama.

 

That made me smile.

I had one last night while playing. I was playing last night and some wastelander ran up and said something like "theres a bomb strapped to me!"

So i disarmed it

Then expecting a reward, he kindly told me to *ban me* off.

 

I was like "female dog say what!?!"

 

So ran to some raiders I killed not too far away and hijacked the flamethrower that one of them had. Shortly then after I proceeded to torch his ungrateful ass.

But the story is not done there.

AFter scorching the little poo, then realized I was getting shot. Why whom? Some random BoS patrol. They aren't too fold of me since I whipped out the Citadel and have an extensive collection of Holotags.

So i looted guys corpse but I was given an option to

A) Loot

B) Cancel

C) Rearm with 10 sec timer

D) Rearm as a proximity trap

 

Weeeelll, I rearmed as a proximity trap and ducked behind a tree.

Sure enough the BoS patrol came running up after me, only to me exploded by the corpse booby trap haha.

 

I collected my Holotags and moved on.

 

You know, come to think of it, me and Tobar the Ferryman arent so different lol. He takes chuncks of brain, I take Holotags lol.

Wow, you can actually rearm the body? I never have enough Explosives by that time, and they go running off, bits of them splattered while their torso remains curiously intact.

Yea if you catch them before they pop and kill them afterwards, the bomb on the guy can be reamred. Either as a 10 second detonation timer, or a proximity mine.

ANOTHER one.

 

Ok, so I play as a scavanger/hunter. I wander along hapily with dogmeat and my scoped hunting rifle. Its all good. But NOTHING could have prepared me for the DUNWICH BUILDING!

 

I was running low on ammo (.32 ammo seems a little scarce...), and i came along this building. I decided to go on in. BIG mistake. I only had... about 14 .32 rounds left, and my rifle was my only weapon. I didn't know what was in here... UNTIL I opened up a door, and there, right before me, was a feral ghoul roamer. Now, I was only level 6, and most of my SP went towards small guns for my rifle. So, being low on ammo, I had no choice but to run!

 

I got out,and a couple of game days later, I entered with a flamer and 1000 flamer fuel things. OH MY GOD did I fEEL LIKE A GOD! Ghouls, running AT me, while i was using the flamer. They NEVER stood a chance.

Yes the mighty flamerthrower is a badass weapon! The Heavy Incinorator that comes with Broken Steel is a hell of a weapon too, provided you the get aiming down, aiming with it a little wierd at first, but its pretty sweet!

Flamethrowers and Miniguns, sometimes you just gotta go on a rampage haha :biggrin:
