King of the Realm.

I got bored, and started to think about a rough idea of a quest mod. I got it from playing the ET in Arkay. I've always wanted to see the Nine Divines, talk to them, and possibly battle them.

But considering how Sheogorath as a Daedric god is able to wipe the floor with you with a single spell

shows just how powerful a god is, and meeting one itself is probably luck. But I started to think about

Akatosh and got an idea from there. This mod would require the Main Quest to be finished. There's only one minor plothole in it from my knowledge [i don't know much about the gods XD and this is a smidge of a long idea so bear with me.]

After Martin died, rumors about Akatosh were spread, of him existing in Cyrodiil, and how he's hiding from the public. The character deicides to investigate these rumors and after crisscrossing across Cyrodiil a few times, going through a few forts here and there to talk to people, you're found out who started the rumor. An Akatosh Primate, I've deicided to name Mezzo.

You go and find Mezzo, and Mezzo has been blessed by Akatosh to see everything in time, and know the past, present, and future. Mezzo then leads you to where Akatosh is supposedly hiding. [A cavern which is short and abandoned of all life.] You go up to where you see an orb. You take the orb, and you're infused with godly power. Mezzo then informs you that was Akatosh's essence and he lives on in you. He then explains how Dagon had found an ancient relic, and used it on all the gods, to bend them to his will, and planned to rule over Cyrodiil in coming years.

Akatosh saw this ahead of time, and realized Dagon would dispose of him first after gaining rule for being King of the Aedra. So Akatosh deicided to take a human shell. This human shell was Martin Septim. He only told one god of his absence, Talos, who deicided to try and protect himself against the ancient relic. Dagon used the relic before the player slew Mankar Camoran, and sadly, Talos only managed to protect himself.

Akatosh then upon reaching the Climax of the Oblivion Crisis, destroy the human shell he had and fought Dagon. Dagon and his Daedric brothers and sisters were sealed away, but the dark hold Dagon had on the Aedra were there, and they were intent on realesing Dagon from Akatosh's seal.

Akatosh weaken from his battle transferred his powers to the orb here. He deicided that he would use his primate to lure the Champion of Cyrodiil to his aid, and help him free his Aedra siblings, before he sealed off the Aedra realm eternally. Thus you are to travel to the Realm of the Aedra themselves.

This leads to several fights against the controlled gods and a few dungeon crawls, and prompts some dialogue to Talos. With the wrong conversation choices, Talos can turn on you, and attempt to kill you, or he just gives you verbal support. After knocking out a god they'll reappear in what I'd like to call the Gateway, where you can speak to them. Perhaps they'd even have custom armor you can admire now that you're not in an intense battle.

Once all are freed Akatosh will thank you, and tell you why he chose you to fight his battles. He chose you because the Aedra created you to be the essence of change and make Cyrodiil better despite all odds that faced you, which may have aided him in saving his siblings. Depending on if you fought Talos, you'll also get rewarded with an enchanted blade.

Upon returning Mezzo, has lost his ability to see the future and tells you with the lack of gods to pave a way for the world, the reins of destiny is in man's hand. He then deicides to become your companions with a weak enchanted dagger, to aid him in combat.

Overall despite the fact I have no modding experience once so ever. [XDDDD] I really like the idea of talking to the Divines, and even being able to engage them in combat. I've always loved the Nine Divines and the Knights of the Nine was always one of my favorites. To be able to interact with their Avatars would be an awesome experience so to say, and if this mod were to come true it'd be rather a challenge for some of those overpowered players...who doesn't want to say they pwned a god?

While I'm going to need more specfics later on bout that Relic Dagon found, and all the Criss Crossing across Cyrodiil I don't see any flaws with the plot[Don't know so much}. Only time the plot breaks is when you could access a Daedric Shrine XD. So I'd like feedback on this little idea of mind and opinions. Thank it's utter bull? Flame away? Think it's cool? Say so. I'd also like critism if you can. If anyone deicides to use this idea just put a Black Font Text Size 6 notice saying Inspiried by Cid. XD [Also if you read this all, dear god you have patience.]

I believe something like this is being made, just without that type of storyline. Its something where, after becoming arch mage, you meet mannimarco, and he becomes your teacher. Mannimarco eventually becomes a being of dark power, and later, you as well. This mod is a WIP if I read correctly, but it sounds like it'll involve the oblivion gods or something like that.
