Artimise Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 Ok, I already know there is one on FO3nexus, however I did download it, and its broken, you can't get the damn gun. All messages sent to the author have come back nothing, no response at all. So my simple request if anyone would feel up to it, is to simply turn the hunting rifle into a sniper rifle in a way. less powerful zoom perhaps. Please, if anyone would be willing, i'd love to see this in the game...one that actually works that is. If there is a way I can do it myself, i'll also take tips and help with that. I know there is a mod or somthing out there that allows you to add weapon modifications to pistols and the like, but 1. I have no idea where to find it, and 2. I have absolutely no idea what to do if I did have the tools Thankyou anyone who takes the time to read this, and I appologize if I sound upset, its just upsettingng when you got a broken mod that you don't know whats wrong with it. VerbalEarthworm Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 your best bet is using Antistar's Weapon Mod Kits (WMK), then just add a scope, silencer, extra cartridge etc. i did this with Ol' Painless and it's my sniper rifle of choice (bolt action, no contest). it also happens to be the most endorsed mod on FO3Nexus. VerbalEarthworm Posted July 28, 2009 Share Posted July 28, 2009 @ Oldwolfe: yes, i have used the Valhalla myself, it's a very good model and again bolt action, my only problem was that it wouldn't work with the "Zoom Scope Mod" (zooming with mousewheel when in scope mode). so i had to remove it again. still, a very worthy alternative (that i failed to mention and am glad you did). i'm quite sure that with a modicum of fiddling i could have made it work, but i do have a soft spot for Ol' Painless (it's like a faithful hound). It works and looks great on my PC. But, now i have Weapon Mod Kits installed, i find that to be far more satisfying, my ol painless now has a scope, silencer and extended clip size attatched due to this mod... http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3388 I hope your okay with using FOSE though, as this Weapon Mod Kit requires it.
