NPC Conversation Zoom

Hey guys, great community!

 

I come to you fine folk now in my hour of need.

 

You see, i have encountered the strangest problem. Like most of you, i am using 50 000 different mods, and to my surprise everything is running quite smoothly. The problem is, after i played around with some camera mods, my game decided "f*** him", and never booted up successfully again. I like to think that I'm no noob, and after a quick re-install and re-patch (just the game, not the mods) plus removing the camera mod from my OMM list i though all would be cured.

 

The camera is back to normal! Hurray, i thought. It seems i celebrated a little to early, as the second i talked to ANY, and i mean ANY, NPC the camera zoomed in like it usualy would, but now if focused on the right "side" of the targeted NPC. I could now only see half of his/her body, as the camera was to busy examining the air next to them.

 

The camera mod was the Gears Of War-like camera mod.

 

Anyone ever have a similar problem? A fix?

I've been installing and removing mods for ages now, but that's besides the point, I'm here to offer my two cents not ramble on about myself~

Try looking into the gears of war camera mod folder (or archive whichever) and look at what files it changes/modifies. Delete these files~

 

That's just a suggestion. Make sure you back them up before you delete them. Just incase I'm wrong. =D

I recently ran into a similar problem when I tried this mod.

 

If I remember correctly, I believe the way I fixed it was by finding the fldlgfocus entry in my Oblivion.ini file: it was set to 6.5, I set it back to something closer to the default value of 2.1000.
