Deleted518329User
Ok since I first got this about 6 months ago I have tried to get the console command working.Everyone ive asked says its the tab or the buttion left of the 1 on the keyboard, i can safetly say, no button on my keyboard opens the console.I am using a laptop and I think this is probably the reason, is there anyway to assign the console to a new button as its not in the controls on the options, there is definantly no console command button as ive tried all the buttons, with and without shift, ctrl etc and nothing works.Has anyone had this and solved it on a laptop, thanks. Gishank
The key does exist on a laptop's keyboard. However as laptops and notebooks are rather compact the layout changes. The key to open the console is "¬" or "~", if those do not work, then i don't know. D=
VerbalEarthworm
the top-left key, to the left of 1, with `and ¦ and ¬ on it. if that doesn't work for you, you must be using Vista. in which case you can get an AutoKey addon from MS, that allows you to program a Function key (like F12) to open the console for you. Gishank
By default you can't change the keys. However, i think there's a mod on Fo3Nexus that allows you to use a getaround in the script to override the default keyset.
