dogwithrabiez
Well, I recently was forced to reformat due to a virus. I managed to back up my save files, but my mods were simply too huge to back up. Is there some sort of program which can tell me what mods my files rely on, or used, so I can go download all of them again?
SavageArtistry
I'm in a similar situation (except it wasn't a virus). I know some people may recommend you a program for that, though off the top of my head I can't remember which one. What I'm planning to do, provided I can find a savegame of my own that isn't corrupt like all my other files, is start a new game and use a program to transfer the character's face to the new save. The one I use is Elder Face Lift. It doesn't work in Vista but I have another computer with XP I can use it with. I think somewhere I read that Wrye Bash can do the same thing. This is just a suggestion in case your other option doesn't work for whatever reason (some mods no longer available for example - that has also happened to me. I found replacements but they were not the exact same files.)
dogwithrabiez
Well, it's more that I need a list of all the mods I had. I don't mind making and playing the characters so much, I'd just rather have all my mods intact so Oblivion runs as smoothly and as pretty as before. bben46
If you use OBMM there is a function to manage saves. If you select it, it will show all of your saves. If you select a save it will list all mods that were active when you made that save. In their load order at that time.

Well I feel dumb now, but then again even though I use OBMM for a few things, most of the time I don't use it to do anything other than fix load order or dissect omods. Cool, I'll have to remember that.
dogwithrabiez
Yeah, I feel stupid now too. I knew there was a save manager, but I didn't know it showed the mods... Thanks! This helps so much.
bben46
OBMM has a lot of functions that are rarely used but are very helpful when you need them.
JCP768
Additionally Wrye bash does that too, if you click SavageArtistry's link it's even the first thing you see on the page
