rcbkn
I was just given this game as a gift, I'm accustomed to virtual worlds like Second LIfe with more control over my body and looks. I want to play but don't like how I look. Tell me the steps to get a better body and some decent clothes to wear. btw, I'm female. I assume that matters. I don't mind if I have to pay for something. Tchos
I see by your other post that you installed a body mod already. The original game was designed for a 1-size-fits-all body, and clothing items completely replace the affected body part, without regard to what alternate body you're using, even if skin is showing. To see a difference in your character's body without being naked, you need to obtain clothing made specifically for that body type. You didn't say which one it is, but if, for example, it was the Team Fantasy Figures body, then you need to seach for clothing designed for TFF or UFF (unofficial fantasy figures). Wearing that clothing will reflect your chosen body type. If you installed Exnem or HGEC, then clothing made for either of those bodies will work, though you'll need to pick clothes that match which particular variation of the figure you chose (as it comes in a variety of breast and hip sizes, etc.) Otherwise, you may find your body shape suddenly changing proportions when you put on a piece of clothing made for a different body type. All the mods here are free, BTW. You won't have to pay for anything. Unless you want to commission someone to design a custom body or outfit for your personal use, I suppose, but that's pretty uncommon for this game, as far as I know. JCP768
Face advice:http://www.shsforums.net/index.php?showtopic=26339 Races/Hair/eyes: RBP You can still edit your race, eyes, and hair after starting by using showracemenu or Wrye bash. For showracemenu just be sure to do it the right way: Change Race/Appearance WARNING: Using this menu will reset all of your skills to their default initial settings. (If you edit your race, instead of clicking "done" when you are done, leave the race menu open with the console up and save your game. When you reload it your race/looks will be changed like you wanted them to be and your skills will not be reset.) Using this command while wearing bound items may crash the game. LFact
Races/Hair/eyes: RBP For first time player, I'd suggest you to use something else that doesn't change racial balance or abilities, so you can feel what you don't like about any vanilla race(other than their appearance). JCP768
Well, I agree. I was afraid of RBP and LAME until I had to get them for Integration. I've never looked back.... he should definitely play a while before changing too much. At the very least he can have a look at the individual race mods RBP's races is based upon: 7. These five bonus races are included from other mods, but were heavily modified. You can use their originals additionally: Slof's playable Xivilai, Luchaire's Tabaxi, Ren's Mystic Elves, Chingari's and Ismelda's Demon race, Capucine's Aquamer. Also playable adaptions of Golden Saints and Dark Seducers are included - playable even without Shivering Isles!
