Zeratul123
Hi everyone, I'm having a unique problem with Fallout 3's VATS. I recently noticed that my VATS accuracy has dramatically increased, when it isn't supposed too. An example would be that I'm targeting an enemies' head from a large distance, and my chance to hit is say.. 5%. I would use a regular Chinese Assault Rifle, aim for the head, and every shot would hit. To make sure I wasn't just lucky, I'd attempt this on different enemies and reload my game. Still, with a very low chance of hitting (according to VAT's percentages) I'd still pretty much be hitting them as if it were 95% accurate. I have multiple mods installed, with one DLC.Fallout 3 1.6Broken SteelUnofficial Fallout 3 Patch (latest)CALIBERCRAFTFWE (latest)MMMCFWDarNified UIWMKMMM : Zone re spawn, tougher traders, natural selection, hunting and lootingThe necessary FOIP compatibility patchesFelloutTactical Weapons (gRs Frederyck)Ultimate Perk Pack If anyone could shed some light on this weird situation, I'd be most grateful. ilDuderoni
What perks do you have or did you take around that time? Some perks add precision, though this seems very extreme.Maybe look through your perk pack and see if any of them affects your precision. If not the case...can't help ya then.Sorry.
Zeratul123
Hmm, checked my perks, and I don't really have anything that gives that kind of precision. I have wasteland doctor that adds 5% chance to non-mutated humans, but that's it really.
Zeratul123
I just tried lowering my skill to 0, and I still pretty much make headshots at large distances.. I was wondering if it could be due to the cone of fire on the weapon (tried firing at a wall from a distance, and no matter what skill level, the spread was still pretty tight?)
