black eyes

all the npcs and my character have black eyes. is there a fix for this?

Usually 'Black Eyes' means missing eye meshes or textures. Please tell me your mod list(mod loading order) first.

I had the same problem as you, so I disabled random mods until I had a fix, it turns out you have a borked install of Ren's beauty pack.

 

So disable:

 

Ren's Beauty Pack full.esp

 

and if you still have problems

 

Ren's Beauty Pack only hairs.esp

beautiful people V22-(BP2.2-RM4 compatibility plugin?)

 

Do not use two or more cosmetic mods at once. Also, do not activate RM4 plugin and BP2.2-RM4 compatibility plugin at once. Beautiful People uses Elaborate Eye meshes, while eye paths are set default EE meshes path for older version like 2.2, newer one, like 2.7 completely replaces default eye meshes to EE meshes.
