Switch
Eww a Dell. I won't laugh, I'll just leave it at that. ;) I'm no systems expert (*waits for MB to turn up*) but I would think at least doubling your RAM would be a very good idea. A stick of 256 comes pretty cheap nowadays (like $40). Integrated graphics are never a good thing, is it possible to remove the graphics card? (Although I have a feeling that "integrated" means you can't). If you can't then I'm not sure you can upgrade your graphics card. :/ Of course you'd need to fit all this stuff, and if you're a complete newbie it might not be a good idea to go poking around inside the case... Marxist ßastard
...Integrated graphics means that the chip is soldered onto the mainboard. You can disable it via jumpers of BIOS setting, I would think, but you can't replace it with something that uses the same interface unless you're lord king of the moon. Additionally, since this is a prebuilt, it's very likely that the assembler had the mainboard custom-built to not include an AGP slot, which is required for any reasonably modern non-integrated graphics chip on systems that don't use PCI Express. Regarding this specific IGP, I recall a Usenet post I made a while back. In short, in your attempts to save money, you may well have bought a $US700 paperweight -- all because you couldn't take the half-hour needed to research how to assemble your own computer. I hope you've saved all your rebate cards, because you're going to need them.

Marxist ßastard
Nope, you're still screwed. Those are PCI slots. 32 bits wide, 1x bandwidth. The most you can put on there is a GeForce 2.
