quackenbushj
 Lately i have been running oblivion at the lowest quality so it will run smooth. It looks absolutely Horrible.I'm not that bright when it comes to computers and such and i was wondering if i could add Ram to make it run faster.i have an ati radion xpress 200 graphics card and 512 MB ddr ram. AncientSpaceAeon
have an ati radion xpress 200 graphics card and 512 MB ddr ram.WOW !!!    AMAZING !!!! I have that spec too :P :P Yes, it's looks ABOSOLUTELY horrible. Yes, of course adding RAM will make it better, but now good graphics card are cheaper, you want to buy them (RAM and Graphics cards), a new processor will be nice. I think we can adjust the graphics card to optimize perfomance. I think it's right click in the desktop > properties > settings > advanced > then I forgot. Well, you can try these for optimizing perfomance.- http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19068- http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10400- http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10510- http://www.oldblivion.com/ But really, the best solution is to upgrade your pc. (we have the same fate, do we ?)
TheTerminator2004
Sorry to break it to you, but with a graphics card/RAM like that, you're never going to get Oblivion running above the lowest settings. You'll need at least 1gb of RAM, and a decent graphics card (you can get plenty of great ones for around £50), not to mention a decent processor (at least Pentium 4 or equivalent, so 3ghz or dual core).
